I've been in EMS/Fire Service for 15 years and have worked as a FF/Paramedic, Flight Paramedic, and an educator. Currently I work for REACH and have been there for 3 years. I ride a 2005 Yamaha R6 and have been riding motorcycles of some type since I was 10.
I am a flight nurse and I have been a RN since 1988. In 1999 I joined REACH where I am currently still working. In 2001 Yumi (my wife) bought me a 1986 Honda VFR 750 that was in excellent condition. This is the bike I first learned to ride .I no longer have that bike but now own a 2002 954rr and a 1997 custom Harley Softail. I wanted to join a motorcycle club that represented my ideals in life and on the bike. I looked all over the area and the internet until I found EMS Angels MC out of New Jersey. I liked what I saw and read. I called and spoke with Manny Oliveira (the National President) and asked if I could start up a chapter in California. With his support the EMS Angels MC of California was born. I hope to see the chapter grow to greater numbers but still retain the thoughts and philosophy of what it was founded on. I am glad to belong to a club that represents the 99% as well as belonging to a group of compassionate people that save lives in and out of work.
I am a flight paramedic
with Reach Air Ambulance. I have worked in EMS for 10 years mostly in
Oregon but for the last 2 years in beautiful, sunny California.
I spent 6 years in the Army National Guard as a firefighter and flight
medic with one tour in
Afghanistan 05/06. I ride a 2008 R6 and have been riding since 2003. I
have a wife and a daughter who was born 7/31/08.
I am working as a flight RN for REACH air medical services based out of NorCal and living in Rancho Cordova, California. I have been in the medical field for 13 years with 8 in EMS, 4 in an ICU as an RN, and now back in EMS working advanced practice. My wife and I just relocated from Northern Utah where I was a member of the Utah Sport Bike Assoc. I ride a 2002 CBR 954 and get out as much as possible. Love the twisties and hitting the throttle when possible (of course until I hit the speed limit then back off).
I am an EMS rotor wing pilot who has been flying for 17 years. I have flown in many different environments throughout this great country from Alaska to Hawaii, Texas to california and most places in between. I very much enjoy flying for EMS and being part of a team that gets to make a difference in peoples lives on a continual basis. I have been riding for 25+ years and look forward to many more. I own a 2001 Hayabusa and a 2002 Goldwing. I look forward to meeting all the new prospects and helping them to become full members and part of this great club.
